I started therapy with Seda back in 2016. Therapy with her has been a life saver for me because when I started I did not know if I was coming or going lol I felt like a lost soul. She has talked me through a lot of life situations and recommended different techniques and exercises to help navigate through life. Therapy has helped me control my emotions, & cope with anxiety from everyday life stresses- I have learned to express myself better etc.

When I first started working with Marina, I had absolutely zero sense of self worth, I was in a cycle of negative self talk, and found myself with little to no hope about feeling better about myself. Six months of regular sessions later and I feel like a normal person again. She gives you the affirmations and grace you need, and when you need a stern guide she can be that too. My work with Seda Ayata, LMHC, was truly life changing. When I began attending online sessions with her in Fall 2022, I didn’t have much experience in terms of therapy. Prior to those initial meetings, I knew that something wasn’t clicking in my life, but at the same time, I didn’t know how to make specific changes that would enable me to clear life’s many hurdles.
Seda’s approach to therapy is evidence-based and research-based, meaning that she took my specific needs into account. As a Black man and a person of color, I was won over immediately.
